Six tools that overlap with this one, each with a page saying what it does better than DevMargin as well as what DevMargin does that it does not. Figures come from each product’s own site and carry the date they were read; where one has gone stale, that is an error and we would like to hear about it.
The closest thing to DevMargin: same $9, same audience. Three rails, no costs, but iOS and Android are shipped and there is a $29 lifetime licence.
The widest of them, in the other direction — installs, ratings, ad campaigns. Reading more than two payment providers costs $29.99 a month there.
Subscription analytics for a company: 28+ metrics, cohorts, payment recovery. From $75 a month, and the one tool here that does track expenses — on its $1,152 tier.
Investor-grade metrics, and a genuinely generous free tier under $10k MRR. A second billing source starts at $99 a month.
Traffic, search and product analytics beside revenue. Two billing rails, priced by how many projects you have.
A $19.99 Mac menubar app with no account at all — your keys never leave the machine. For a daily glance it beats every dashboard here.
Three things, and they are the same three on every page above. DevMargin reads 14 billing rails — more than twice the widest of these — and every plan includes all of them rather than charging by the rail. It subtracts what each project costs to run and shows the margin underneath, which nothing else in this price bracket does. And it answers your agent over a read-only MCP endpoint, which none of them does at any price.
A fourth thing is not different, and it would be dishonest to list it above: DevMargin gives your portfolio a public page you control project by project and figure by figure. Baremetrics has published one since long before we did — they invented the idea. What ours adds is that every published figure carries the rail it came from and the date of the snapshot it was read out of, which is the part a screenshot cannot fake.
Where a figure is missing it says —, never zero and never a guess. That rule is also why these pages name the things the other products do better: a comparison written by the seller is worth exactly as much as its least convenient sentence.
Free for every rail and every project, with 30 days of history. No card, and every key is read-only.
